Twenty-five years of the State Register

On 12 May 1997 the first entries were made in the State Register of Monuments of History and Culture: the Church of St. Janyl and the Ruins of Old Iyık Janyl, the Caravanserai of Rabat-i-Safed, the Kok-Tash Kariz, the Köhne Diz citadel and the Old City of Talas and the other monuments numbered 97/001 to 97/013.

For the anniversary the Rabat-i-Safed open-air museum is free of charge on 14 and 15 May.
