The Register lists the immovable monuments protected under the heritage ordinance of 1997. Each monument has a protection number (year of entry / serial number). Categories: WH World Heritage, N national importance, L local importance, P provisional protection (up to two years, while a site is studied).
Only part of the Register is published on this site. Full extracts are issued at the Service on written request (form HPS-1).

Sites on the tribal side of the Qara-Chik line (Bitik-Tash, Kara-Unkur Cave and others) are recorded in the Archaeological Map of the Karatau and the Kyzylkum Fringe (TSU, 2009) but are not entered in the Register: the Service does not work beyond the line.
